Who can utilize this service?

• All Iberia Clients with tickets (paper or electronic) issued for Iberia flights that depart from these airports and to any Iberia destination with the exception of USA, Puerto Rico, Cuba and Central America.
• If you are traveling with luggage, you should hand it in at the luggage-only check-in desks (only available at Madrid and Barcelona airports) or at the ordinary check-in desks at least 45 minutes before the flight departure. See time limit for other destinations.
  PAfterwards proceed to security control* and show your documentation.

• You will not be able to use this facility when you require a special service: service for unaccompanied minors, wheelchairs, etc.

• Flights with code shared (IB7.000 - IB7.999) are excluded, as are flights which make direct connections with other airlines.
• When you need to present your credit card at the airport, you will only be able to perform seating reservation. You will not be able to print the boarding cards
• This does not apply on 'puente aéreo' Madrid-Barcelona shuttle flights, either flights IB2.700 - IB2.799

How to check in using iberia.com in four steps

Step 1. Searching for your reservation.

Select one of the two available options for providing the search details.

• Reservation code. You should know the reservation code and the family name of the passenger as it appears in the reservation details.

• Iberia Plus card number. If when your reservation was performed your card number was provided, you will be able to perform the search simply by giving your Iberia Plus card number and your PIN code. ( Forgotten or don't have a PIN code?).

Step 2. Choosing your seat.

You will be able to select your preferred choice of seating (window or aisle) or select a specific seat depending on the availability of the seating layout plan. If you already have a seat reserved, your check-in will be carried out for this seat.

Step 3. Printing your boarding card.

For each flight the following documents will be printed depending on the type of ticket:

• Electronic Ticket: 2 copies of the boarding card per flight or leg of the journey. One for the customer and another for the boarding gate
• Tickets printed on paper: 1 copy for the customer per flight or leg of the journey that you should be accompanied by the corresponding ticket coupon
  

Step 4. At the airport.

• Without luggage. Check the boarding gate on the monitor screens, and go directly to the boarding gate after passing the passport and security controls* where you should show your documentation.
• With luggage. Hand it in at the fast bag drop desks or at the ordinary check-in desks at least 45 minutes before the flight departure, and then go to the passport and security control* area and show your documentation.

* The airport security services have authorized the on-line check-in procedures, but could prevent and/or limit access to boarding areas in exceptional circumstances. In this case please contact our airport staff, who are completely at your service to help you in any way they can.
