These are objects which are banned on the aircraft for safety reasons.
Banned objects that cannot be carried on the aircraft
Explosives, munitions, fireworks, flares, material for expeditions, safety boxes with pyrotechnic items and pyrotechnic material in general.
- liquefied, cooled liquefied or dissolute gases.
Compressed, liquefied, cooled liquefied or dissolute gases, whether inflammable, toxic or non-inflammable and non-toxic, such as: aerosols, extinguishers, breathing apparatuses, oxygen tanks for diving, cryogenic liquids, tanks with coolant gases and cylinders in general.
- Inflammable liquids and solids
Inflammable liquids and solids such as fuel or equipment with fuel (camping material, filming material, etc.), adhesives, solvents, paints, varnishes, torches, matches, lighters and all inflammable substances, either autoreactive or combustion.
- Oxidising materials and organic peroxides
Oxidising materials and organic peroxides such as oxygen generators.
- Toxic or infectious substances
Toxic or infectious substances, such as incapacitating devices, samples for diagnosis, vaccines, insecticides and herbicides.
- Radioactive material
Radioactive material, such as pharmaceutical products with radioactive isotopes.
Corrosives, such as acids, alkalines, apparatuses with mercury, electrical accumulators and apparatuses activated electrically by batteries.
- Lithium batteries and other dangerous items
Lithium batteries and other dangerous items such as first-aid kits, ferromagnetic material, dry ice and car batteries.
Banned objects that cannot be carried in the cabin
In addition to objects that are banned from onboard the aircraft
- Firearms and weapons in general
Firearms and weapons in general (pistols, rifles, shotguns, compressed air pistols/ flare guns/ toy pistols/paintball guns, crossbows, bows for arrows, harpoons-fishing guns)
- Blunt instruments
Blunt instruments (bats, golf clubs, oars, skateboards, fishing rods, martial arts equipment, catapults).
- Sharp weapons or objects or ones with edges
Sharp weapons or objects or ones with edges (axes, arrows, darts, harpoons, javelins, ski /hiking poles, scissors, knives and any other sharp object)
Find out the regulations on liquids in carry-on baggage
- First regulation
Liquids, gels and/or aerosols unless placed in individual containers with a capacity of no more than 100 ml.
- Second regulation
Containers should be placed inside a clear plastic bag with an opening and closing system and a capacity of no more than 1 litre.
- Third regulations
The contents of this bag should fit inside it comfortably. The bag should be completely closed and presented for inspection separately from the carry-on baggage.
