On the Rhine riverbank, you will find a centre that spans almost 900 square metres and is dedicated to the exhibition of modern art. You may find it difficult to visit, as it is an underground museum. This museum is located at number 1, Mannesmannufer, and its entrance is strikingly visible. The terrace surrounding it is the perfect place to eat lunch or dinner and relax after having visited its exhibition. Inside, you will find vast halls that display various collections of photography, paintings and film work. This space boasts a large number of documentaries and cinematographic works that are alternative and far from mainstream. This tunnel has become one of Europe’s most important places for contemporary art. Check upcoming programmes at www.kunst-im-tunnel.de.
