Taste Swiss cuisine

The most typical dishes.

While in the country of good cheese and great gastronomy, we recommend you go to any of the traditional restaurants offering local food to get fully enveloped by Geneva culture. At "Le Patio" (www.lepatiorestaurant.ch), a typically Swiss place, you can sample the steak tartar or its delicious veal steak, in the company of any of the local wines. Open from Monday to Friday, it also has a small terrace on the pavement. If you want to taste sweetbreads or excellent roasted mushrooms, we recommend you go to "Chez Jacky" (www.chezjacky.ch), where you will find a warm ambience both inside and on its canopied terrace. Closer to the lake, beside the Parc de Mon Repos, is "La Perle du Lac" (www.laperledulac.ch), surrounded by a large green area with impressive views over the bay. In its magnificent dinning room, under large lamps and with soft carpets, you'll discover a world that is very different from the rest of the city.
