Granada has remained surprisingly free of the big shopping centres that one sees all over Spain these days. But if that's your speed, head to the only real mall within city limits, the Centro Comercial Neptuno (www.webneptuno.com) on Calle Recogidas. It has a wide variety of retailers of all types, including clothing, decor, jewelry, and other accessories, as well as various restaurants and cafés. Neptuno has also become something of an entertainment hangout thanks to its cinema, games area, kids' play rooms, and a pair of pubs. Another option is the Granada branch of Spain's biggest department store chain El Corte Inglés, which occupies several separate downtown spaces, the largest of which is Centro Comercial Arabial (on Calle Arabial), specialising in home/decor as well as containing the Hipercor supermarket.
