The world's biggest amusement park can be found in Anaheim, less than 50 kilometres from the centre of Los Angeles. It is a must-see for anyone who is travelling with children. They will be able to see Disney's most famous characters and enjoy all sorts of attractions, including the spectacular Big Thunder Mountain Railroad rollercoaster. For those of you who are less adventurous there are other interesting options, such as the Space Mountain, a trip full of special-effects, or the Haunted Mansion. The older ones will be able to re-visit their youth in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, on an old rail wagon which will guide you through the story devised by Steven Spielberg and featuring Harrison Ford. The cherry on the top of an unforgettable day is provided by a parade of illuminated coaches, leading to the final spectacle in Sleeping Beauty's Castle, with fireworks included. Next door, Disney California Adventure is another park which is there to satisfy those who are still hungry for more, especially if they want to visit its famous Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
