We're talking about the main theatre building in Nice, being its dramatic forum par excellence. The Théâtre National de Nice was founded in 1969, and has been the venue for around thirty shows each year. The theatre offers a complete programme including dancing, music concerts, and performing arts, of course, and naturally meets the main trends of contemporary expressions. There are two auditoriums: a cosier one named Michel Simon with just over three hundred seats, and a larger one called Pierre Braseur, with almost a thousand seats in which the most popular events are held. The way in which the theatre becomes closer to the public is interesting by offering attendees a nursery service during the show for example. It's also possible to do a guided tour backstage of a play, which lets you see a performance from the actors' side.
