Seen as the spoilt child of the Portuguese fashion world, Luis Bucinho is the only Portuguese designer ever to have presented collections in Paris (it was in 2009 that he made his debut in Paris Fashion Week); he spent twenty years at the cutting edge of the business, and, thanks to his designs, his success and his creations, he has been responsible for the upturn in the Baixa area, now seen as one of the best in the city. He opened his first Porto shop in 2007 in the Rua José Falcão, and now in 2012 he opened a second boutique in the Esplanada do Castelo. One of the great selling points of his workshop is that you can customise or personalise any garment or item of clothing you ask them to.Elaborate and original structuring, graphic detailing and unusual colour and texture mingling all make up a composite outline which is the essence, charisma and authenticity of cosmopolitan style.
