The famous Museum of the People has permanent exhibitions on archeology, sculpture and painting in the region, while other rooms focus on objects related to farming, popular clothing, sailing and other traditional trades. There is also a permanent room with a remarkable music section. It is without a doubt the best way to learn how people in Galicia have traditionally lived and what their most ingrained habits are. Since opening in the 70s, this museum has become one of the favorites of local residents. It's located in the former convent of Santo Domingo de Bonaval and can be visited any day of the week except Mondays.
