Attention: this is one of the temples of gastronomy in Santiago de Compostela, a place where the art of tapas is practiced to perfection. You'll enjoy almost endless choices including razor clams, mussels, clams, shrimp skewers with Padrón peppers (a house specialty), Spanish potato omelettes, beef kebabs, chorizo sausages in wine, fried calamari, paella ... all presented in ways that may even surprise you. La Taberna do Bispo is a simple, comfortable and very central place, next to the University of Santiago. It may not be the cheapest way to enjoy some tapas in the city, but rest assured that it never disappoints and the cost/quality ratio is excellent. Hungry now?
