Please bear in mind these terms and conditions when requesting payment of Avios via Iberia.com.
You may request payment of Avios for flights you have already taken with Iberia Group operators (Iberia, Iberia Express and Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum), Air Berlin (and its affiliate Niki Airlines), American Airlines, British Airways and S7 Airlines (and its affiliate Globus LLC), and for flights operated by other airlines but with an Iberia code.*
Iberia Air Shuttle flights
You may request payment of Avios for Air Shuttle flights.
Please note that the response time for Air Shuttle Avios requests is longer due to the computer process for managing this type of request.
Deadline for submitting Avios requests
You must submit your request for Avios within six months of the date of your flight.
If you joined the Iberia Plus Programme recently, please note that you may request the payment of Avios for flights taken up to three months before you became a member of the programme.
If your flight is associated with a special offer or promotion in force at the time, the promotional Avios will be recorded along with the Elite Points earned for your flight as a single transaction. However, you may not submit a request for promotional Avios only.
Replies to your request
There are three possible replies regarding your request for payment of Avios:
Information on the status of your requests will be stored for three months from the date of the reply.
* Except flights operated by Vueling (code IB5XXX), for which you must provide the Iberia Plus card number when you buy your ticket because you will not be able to claim Avios points after you have taken the flight; also flights operated by TACA (code IB7XXX), for which you must send a copy of the air carriage ticket or e-ticket itinerary receipt and your original boarding pass to the Iberia Plus Service Centre.
