New security measures for flights to USA.
Complying with the requirements of the United States Authorities, from July 29th all Iberia flights destination U.S.A. will be subject to additional security inspections.
These measures consist of customers to be asked to turn on any electrical or battery powered devices such as telephones, tablets, e-books and laptops in front of security teams and/or demonstrate the item's functionality.
If, when asked to do so, you are unable to demonstrate that your device has power, the device will not be allowed to travel on your planned service.
Please do all you can to ensure that items you bring with you are fully powered before you arrive at the airport.
Please do not bring any broken devices in your hand luggage to the airport as they will not be able to travel as planned.
Permitted during the flight

Wifi and GSM connection
You can connect to the wifi and data network on Iberia aircraft where the service is available. Enable data transmission when the mobile signal indicates it.
Initially available on long-haul aircraft (Airbus A340 and A330) equipped with the new seats and modern entertainment system.
By not using devices that affect the aircraft’s electronics you will be ensuring a safe flight for all.

- Computer or videogame peripherals.
- AM and FM radios.
- Wireless computer mice.
