Iberia Plus Platinum Benefits
As well as the advantages you already enjoy as an Iberia Plus Gold card holder, you can access the Platinum level valid for two years if, between 1 April in any given year and 31 March the following year, you build up at least 6,250 Elite Points (EP) , having taken at least 1 flight with an IB code (operated by Iberia or by another Programme partner airline, i.e., Iberia Plus), Vueling* or British Airways.You will receive exclusive attention and advantages on all the Programme’s services.
*From 24 November 2012, flights with VY code, purchased on basic fare, do not build up Avios nor Elite Points, and do not reckon to level up your Iberia Plus Card.
Fast Track VIP Access
Exclusive services which make pre-boarding procedures easier for our VIP customers and enables them to board the aircraft more quickly.
As an Iberia Plus Platinum Card holder, we are offering this exclusive service, for both you and your companion every time you take flights operated by the Iberia Group and / or marketed by Iberia, at all available airports. On the Fast Track service from Madrid or Barcelona, you can access with any airline. In this case, your companion will fly on the same flight.
Also, when your flight is operated by the Iberia Group, you can be accompanied by a companion under 18 years old.

Free Upgrade
We offer you the possibility of requesting two free upgrades which you may use on any direct Iberia flight during the validity period of your card.
Conditions:
- Booking payment for certain economy tariffs (Y, B, H) for flight operated by Iberia.
- The ticket has to be issued prior to the upgrade being requested. In Spain, contact the Platinum Customer Service Centre (From abroad, contact your Iberia Plus Service Centre).
- On the day of your flight, you should go to the Business Class desk.
Automatic seat reservation according to your preferences
With the Iberia Plus programme, every time you fly with us, we want you to do so with every convenience. Register your preferences and, whenever possible, we will assign you a seat to suit your taste when you travel on an eligible ticket
Guaranteed Seat*
Whenever you try and make a booking for a full fare ticket and you identify yourself as an Iberia Plus Platinum cardholder, Iberia will endeavour to confirm you a seat in Full Tourist class up to 24 hours prior to the flight. If for any reason we cannot make this seat reservation, Iberia will offer you priority on the Business Class waiting list or the alternative which is best suited to your requirements.
* Only for collecting Avios and Elite Points on flights with the code IB operated by the Iberia Group and Iberia Express.
Platinum Bonus
During the period your Platinum card is valid, Iberia Plus will give you 100% extra Avios, calculated on the basis of real miles flown. When the distance flown is less than 500 miles, the percentage will be applied on 500 miles. It shall be applied on flights that qualify for Elite Avios in the Iberia Group, Vueling and British Airways in all classes except Economy Discount. This bonus only applies in Discount Economy on Iberia, British Airways or American Airlines flights between the European Union, Switzerland and Norway with the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
Personal credit
Your Iberia Plus Platinum card automatically credits you with up to 22,500 Avios, which you can enjoy on any Programme service whenever you want and without having to worry about the status of your personal account.
The maximum negative balance your personal account can reach is -22,500 Avios.
Business Class Check-in
Your Iberia Plus card enables you to check in your luggage at any Business Class desk, regardless of the class you are booked in.
Access to VIP lounges
Simply by presenting your Iberia Plus Platinum card, you will have free access along with a guest, to all VIP lounges owned by Iberia regardless of the airline with which you are flying with. In that case, your guests must fly on the same flight.
In addition, your Iberia Plus Platinum card gives you and a guest access to any Iberia VIP lounge worldwide when travelling on flights operated by the Iberia Group and / or marketed by Iberia.
In that case, your guests flight must meet the same conditions and / or they must have a boarding pass for a flight with oneworld for travel on the same day.
Also, when your flight is operated by the Iberia Group, you can be accompanied by a companion under 18 years old.

As an Iberia Plus Platinum customer, you also have access to the VIP Arrival Lounges at London Heathrow when travelling with British Airways and within the U.S, Mexico and Puerto Rico when travelling with American Airlines.
Preferential Attention Points
Your Iberia Plus Platinum card gives you access to Preferential Attention points, thus avoiding queues and speeding up all the procedures you need to carry out with Iberia: ticket purchase, flight connections or baggage information.
These desks are located in the Iberia Sales Offices in cities and airports, both in Spain and outside Spain. These are also situated in the arrivals hall in Madrid and Barcelona airports.
Maximum baggage allowance
Your Iberia Plus Platinum (Emerald oneworld) card offers you an additional piece of baggage of up to 23 kgs when travelling on flights operated by any of the companies belonging to the oneworld alliance, regardless of what class you are travelling in. .
On flights operated by the Iberia Group, you can also benefit an over weight allowance of up to 32 kg per bag.
A limousine available
Your Iberia Plus Platinum card lets you enjoy a special and exclusive limousine service for your transfer between the airport and the cities of: Barcelona, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, Buenos Aires, Mexico City and Sao Paulo, so long as you are travelling with a full-fare Business Class ticket on intercontinental flights operated by Iberia** (including travelling on Avios)
In Spain, this service can be requested from your Platinum Service Centre (tickets for obtaining and using Avios). Outside Spain, for tickets that involve using Avios, call your Iberia Plus Service Centre. For full-fare tickets see your Iberia office or travel agency. (Requests for this service should be made at least 72 hours before flight departure or arrival).
Free VIP Parking
As an Iberia Plus Platinum card holder, when you fly with Iberia or Iberia Regional/Air Nostrum, we offer you a free parking service at Madrid and Barcelona airports.*
Travel assistance insurance
As an Iberia Plus Platinum cardholder you have Travel assistance insurance for dealing with unexpected events which may happen on any of your trips outside Spain. Europ Assistance guarantees you assistance and provision of the services you require with just one call to the Assistance Centre.
