Due to the increase in the number of passengers flying during these days from Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport, queues and extended processing times at passport controls are expected.

Because of this reason and in order to travel more at ease, we would recommend you to get your boarding pass at iberia.com, to arrive at the airport earlier than usual and to reach your boarding area as much in advance as possible.

Flights to/from Basel

Basel airport police will perform identity document controls on passengers travelling to/from this airport.
Because of this reason, EU travellers at Basel airport should have a valid ID card or passport with them and non-EU citizens should have a valid passport and a visa if required due to their nationality.
We would advise you to keep in mind this circumstance and to have your personal documents on hand.
