Carriage of AnimalsAny questions?

Can I travel with pets?

Pets (such as dogs, cats, birds, etc.) that meet legal and documentary requisites[Open in a new window] may be accepted as hold or cabin luggage.

Acceptance in the hold
Carry them in the hold in an appropriate cage or pet pack: resistant, secure, comfortable and ventilated. The number of cages or pet packs and their sizes is limited by the type of aircraft. If you intend to fly with your pet you should contact the Booking Office for authorisation. The trip can only be authorised when all of the flight legs are confirmed.

Acceptance in the cabin
Take them with you in the cabin if they don’t weigh more than 8 kg. (including their cage or pet pack, except for guide dogs and emotional support animals) with previous authorisation from the Booking Office.
The container may be a maximum of 45 cm in length, 35 cm in width and 25 cm in depth, provided that the sum of those 3 measurements does not exceed 105 cm.

As the number of cages is restricted on the basis of the type of aeroplane, the carriage of animals must be authorised by the Booking Office.
Authorisation will only be given for journeys when all legs are confirmed.
The size and weight of animals must be in keeping with the limits established for inbound and outbound flights.

In no case will the animal be able to leave its carrier inside the cabin, and the passenger is responsible for looking after it.

Please remember that if the carrier does not meet the minimum conditions for acceptance, it will be refused boarding. You can purchase such a kennel at larger pet shops or specialist shipping agents.
