    EARNING ELITE POINTS AND AVIOS
    For each flight you take with a Japan Airlines (JL) code, you can earn

    • Avios, the currency accumulated in your balance, which can be redeemed for flights and other opportunities.

    • Elite Points, the currency used as a measure and maintain or gain access to elite card tiers.

     

    EARNING AVIOS
    Earning Avios on direct flights with a Japan Airlines (JL) code is based on the following criteria:

    • The actual distance flown is based in miles and the flight class (Cabin).

    • Card tier (Platino, Oro, and Plata)

    PLATINO, ORO AND PLATA
    Elite Platino, Oro and Plata cardholders receive additional Avios based on their card level on all eligible flights with a Japan Airlines (JL) code.

    • Platino: 100%

    • Oro: 50%

    • Plata: 25%

    This is applied by multiplying your percentage by the actual distance of miles flown, per flight.

    Elite Points will depend on the booking class and the distance, in miles, for each flight.

    • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
