Clients travelling in Iberia Business Plus, Business Club and Business Class may choose their seat free in advance from the time the booking is made, without necessarily having their tickets issued beforehand.
On Iberia and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, Economy XL seats may be booked in which clients have more space for their comfort.
These seats are at the emergency exits on the planes, so to be able to use , passengers must be capable of assisting the crew in emergency situations and meet certain requirements.

For one-way tickets or round trips, you can book your seat in advance at no extra cost when the country of departure of the first flight is one of the following countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica , Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.
Seats may only be bought on flights operated by Iberia. Consult the operator for flights operated by other airlines and those with the codes IB4XXX, IB5XXX and IB7XXX.
