How can I get a mobile boarding pass?
Go to the online check-in 24 hours before your flight departs to obtain your individual boarding pass in the usual way from a PC or your mobile phone. Once the process has begun, at the end you will be able to choose from among the following types:

The last two options are the ones that allow the Mobile Boarding Pass. The customer receives a 2 D code (Avios).

What's my mobile boarding pass like?
The mobile boarding pass is a 2D code that contains all the flight details. It also includes the essential details about your flight so that you can identify it legibly.

- 2 Flight number
- 3 Departure date
- 4 Class
- 5 Seat selected
- 6 Embarkation number
What can I do at the airport with my mobile boarding pass?
At the airport, you can use your mobile boarding pass at the check-in desks if you have any baggage, at the security filters and at the boarding gates to board the plane.
For efficient identification, simply go to the mobile boarding pass reader with your mobile phone showing the 2D image on screen (preferably illuminated) and wait a few seconds to get a positive identification (acoustic/light signal).
If you mistakenly delete it or the mobile boarding pass on your phone is read incorrectly, you can also pick up your conventional boarding pass from any autocheck-in machine or Iberia check-in desk at the airport. You can also do this if the battery on your mobile is flat or you have forgotten your mobile.
The mobile boarding pass makes waiting times at airports more streamlined and considerably shorter, as the different identification filters are very much quicker and more efficient. However, we should remind you that the readers are not to replace airport security or Iberia personnel, who may ask you for your documentation as an additional form of identification.
