24-hour telephone service

You always have your Iberia Plus Service Centre available to charge your tickets to Avios and provide you with all the information you need about your Avios personal account and the Iberia Plus programme.

Upgrade to a higher cabin class in exchange for Avios

When you buy an Economy Flexible Fare ticket on direct flights operated by Iberia, you can upgrade to Business using your Avios, whenever I class is available to book in the Business compartment (available through your Iberia Plus customer care center).

You can travel with a friend charging the tickets to your Avios

You can use your Avios to buy plane tickets for a travel companion without having to include them as a beneficiary on your Iberia Plus card

Travel assistance services

Your Iberia Plus card covers the following expenses: medical bills in case of accident; emergency dentist bills; extended hotel stay in case of accident; the costs of a flying out a family member and their stay; return flight due to death of a family member; transmission of urgent messages; baggage search and localisation; dispatch of personal objects (not replacement); advance cash in case of emergency; advance bail; civil liability insurance; lost connecting flight.

Home Assistance Service

Allows you, in 48 hours and anywhere in Spain, to contract the repair work you need in your home (fixed rates) with a three-month warranty.


* The features of this insurance policy will be valid so long as the time you are away from your usual place of residence does not exceed 90 consecutive days per trip. To request travel assistance cover, you must show you have and are using a plane ticket from IBERIA or another group company.

How do I get a Silver Card?
You just need to accrue
1,100 Elite Points or fly 25 routes
between 1 April one year and 31 March the following year.

By making at least 1 flight with an IB code, operated by Iberia or another partner in the Iberia Plus, Vueling or British Airways programme on fares that count towards Elite Points, or alternatively if you make 25 flights under the conditions described above.
