Iberia Express is an airline company based in Madrid which operates short and medium haul flights. The airline started operations in March 2012 and has since established itself as the most punctual airline in Madrid - Barajas, and one of the leading airlines in Europe achieving an average punctuality of 95.7%.
Iberia Express allows the Iberia Group to offer its customers more affordable rates, with the same quality service and the experience of Spanish leading airline. The customer has the same advantages involved in flying with Iberia: operations to major airports, Iberia Plus program, VIP rooms, onboard service, Business class, multiple frequencies, connections to over 100 destinations, and the safety offered by the companys own maintenance, recognized as one of the best in the world.
At present, the Iberia Express program offers 29 destinations, 11 domestic and 18 international, all with origin, destination or connection at Madrid-Barajas, except the Vigo- Tenerife and Vigo-Palma de Majorca routes.
Among some of this destinations are Berlin, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, Stockholm, Dublin, Amsterdam, Seville, Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, and the Canary and Balearic Islands.
During 2015, and from late march onwards, Iberia Express will gradually incorporate more European cities to its list of international destinations including London, Edinburgh, Naples, Verona, Paris and Manchester. In addition, it will launch the new Oviedo-Tenerife route, taking advantage of its base on the island.
