Qatar Airways was launched in 1997 and quickly established itself as one of the worlds fastest growing and highest quality airlines.

Since its launch in 1978, airberlin has grown into Germany's second largest airline - and the sixth biggest in Europe in terms of passengers boarded - after taking over Deutsche BA and LTU and gaining a 49.9 per cent stake in Austria's NIKI and a 49 per cent holding in Switzerland's Belair.
It serves 162 destinations in 40 countries, carrying more than 35 million passengers in 2011. One of the leading Jordanian companies, Royal Jordanian was established in 1963 as the national air carrier. On Feb. 5, 2001, RJ was registered under the name of "Alia", the Royal Jordanian Airline Public Shareholding Company. The company is presently heading toward selling 74% of its shares to local and international investors and the Jordanian government is keeping 26% of the shares. Royal Jordanian headquarters are located in the heart of the capital, Amman, and its flights are operated from Queen Alia International Airport. The RJ fleet includes: Airbus A310, A320, A321, A340, Q400 and Embraer 195 aircraft. To date, Royal Jordanian concluded the modernization program of its short- and medium-haul fleet, having replaced the leased Airbus 310 and 320 aircraft with six modern, newly manufactured A320 and A321 aircraft. Additionally, RJ has received 2 Embraer 195s so far under a contract signed with the Brazilian Embraer for the acquisition of seven Embraer 195 aircraft. The airline announced that it had selected the wide-body Boeing 787 Dreamliner as the replacement aircraft for its long range Airbus A340s, starting with 2010. Seven to eight B 787 will join the RJ fleet. It is also planning to replace its two older Airbus A321s with two new A321 aircraft, in addition to introducing two new Airbus A319s early in 2008. Thus, the airline´s fleet will reach 35 aircraft by 2011. Networkwise, the airline will open two new direct routes to Montreal and to the Hungarian capital, Budapest. RJ is considering expanding its route network during the coming three years, to several points aroound the world.
