From the field to the table, experience something different at this lively street market.
The farmers market.
In the summer and autumn, when the weather is good, between ten in the morning and three in the afternoon farmers from the local area set up a fabulous street market in the historic Logan Square to sell their produce: fruit and vegetables, bread, jam, cheese and flowers. While admiring the huge number of stands you can also breakfast on crepes and doughnuts or have a mid-morning snack. In the area around the market, it is not unusual to find groups performing live music and impromptu concerts on the street. On Logan Boulevard you will also find a great variety of shops devoted to books and children’s presents, an essential place to visit if you need to buy a present for a child or if you have children with you. You can get here on the blue metro line. All information at www.logansquarefarmersmarket.org
