This is a Mecca for all die-hard art lovers. You could spend a whole day at this museum, as it houses a vast collection. It is located on 53rd Street at the same latitude as Central Park, and boasts six floors filled with some of the world’s most important contemporary masterpieces. The second floor holds books, prints and cinematic screenings. Its garden is also a great place to take a moment to relax during your visit. The third floor focuses on designs, drawings photography and architecture, and the fourth floor is dedicated to various North American artists, such as Jackson Pollock and Edward Hopper. You will find the ‘big names’, such as Dali, Van Gogh and Miro, on the fifth floor.
