More than just a cultural exchange

If you wish to extend your stay in Rabat and are interested in truly immersing yourself within Moroccan society, then the Centre for Cross-Cultural Learning is the place for you. In association with Casa Árabe in Madrid, it is a multicultural institution of academic learning which in recent years has expanded its activities. The centre is situated in a nineteenth century building and, as well as offering courses in classical Arabic and other dialects, also boasts an extensive exchange programme for both youngsters and adults, with particular focus on artistic, religious and political studies. In addition, the Centre for Cross-Cultural Learning runs a volunteer programme over five weeks during the summer (registrations in April), offering collaboration with local NGOs, intensive lessons in Arabic, whatever your level, and the opportunity to live with Moroccan families: an experience of complete cultural immersion in a traditional family environment.
