Different but no less interesting

An amazing array of artefacts from ancient civilisations in Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas fill the rooms of the Musée du Quai Branly, which was opened in 2006 by President Jacques Chirac. Its permanent collection includes some 300,000 pieces and it also hosts around 10 temporary exhibitions a year.
