Golf great Severiano Ballesteros called this the best and most challenging course in the Canary Islands
Spectacular and challenging
Spain's golf great Severiano Ballesteros once called the Costa Teguise Golf Course the Canary Islands' best and most challenging. Conceived by British designer John Harris in 1978, it's lined with 3,500 palm trees, and challenges include Lanzarote's picón (volcanic sand), strong winds, and a multitude of dogleg holes. The club also offers private hourlong golf lessons (or five hours spread over a week). Facilities include padel courts and a café-restaurant with views over the volcano and sea.
