Clothes, craft, fruit... an ideal place to take a stroll, look around the stalls and you might even find the bargain of a lifetime.
Charming neighbourhood markets.
This neighbourhood market, one of the oldest traditions in the city, offers another excellent day out just 5 minutes by car from the city centre. Tuesday and Saturday morning it's the turn of the Punta Carretas neighbourhood, which is flooded with people thanks to this traditional clothes market. It also has a range of pretty artisan products, accessories and fruit and veg stalls. This busy shopping event takes place in an enchanting natural setting and is the ideal place for spending a carefree morning indulging in the simple pleasures of looking, haggling and buying. It usually runs until about four in the afternoon. Plenty of buses link the Feria de Villa Biarritz with other points in the city, making it really easy to get to.
