A spectacular wine list and superb churrasco meat, as well as an enormous one hundred year old fig tree which decorates the place.
A restaurant loved by the Paulista jet-setters.
The tropical one hundred year old fig tree which dominates and gives its name to the restaurant, Figueria Rubaiyat, is worth seeing, although its prices reflect its location and its luxury atmosphere. Situated on Haddock Lobo Street and opened in 2001, it quickly became the place to go for the 'beautiful people' of São Paulo. Tables are located around the impressive fig tree trunk and the glass roof allows the light to highlight its beautiful leaves. Its wine list varies in price and Figueira Rubaiyat is considered to be the churrasco temple of the city. The 'feijoada' has become another attraction, cooked "Spanish style" in a clay oven. But its menu is not only limited to meats: if you are interested in the Oyster Bar, it will surprise you with fresh oysters with herbs or lime, accompanied by champagne or white wine.
