Flown with Japan in the last 6 months and the Avios are not yet in your account? You have up to six months from the date of your flight to claim them by clicking here

GETTING ELITE POINTS AND AVIOS

For each flight you take with Japan Airlines you can obtain:

  • Avios, a credit that builds up in your Iberia Plus balance, exchangeable for flights and other opportunities offered by the Program.

  • Elite Points, a credit obtained exclusively for flights and which determines whether elite card levels should be kept and/or accessed.

The award of Avios for direct flights with code JL and operated by a oneworld alliance company is determined by the real distance flown in miles and flight class (cabin bonus)

  • Iberia reserves the right to exclude tariffs from the receipt of Elite Points and Avios. Check the general programme conditions

  • Codeshare flights booked with the code of a carrier associated to Iberia but operated by a company not associated to Iberia do not meet the requirements for the award of Avios and Elite Points.

  • Booking and issue of tickets charged to your Avios for flights operated by Japan Airlines are exempt from booking fees, but only if made through their Iberia Plus Service Center.

  • The class Full Economy is only available in combination with flights with Iberia Group.
