On Rue de Fès, right in the heart of the 19th-century "new town" outside the medina, you'll find yourself in an old market that might make you feel like you stepped into a time machine (and as chaotic as it may seem, there's an order underneath it all). You can find a hugely colourful selection of foodstuffs (both human and animal feed), produce, meats, spices, prepared foods, and various other merchandise you may not see elsewhere.
