    How can I earn Avios?

    Step 1

    Join IHG One Rewards and choose Iberia Club as your earning preference.

    Step 2

    If you are already a member of IHG One Rewards, visit Manage Earning Preferences to select Iberia Club as your earning preference. To do this go to your account status page and select ‘change earnings preference’, select Frequent Flyer Miles and choose Iberia as the Frequent Flyer Programme.

    Step 3

    Your Iberia Club account will be credited with the applicable Avios approximately six weeks after your stay. If the Avios do not show in your account within 6 weeks, please submit an online claim form or contact to IHG One Rewards Customer Care. You have up to six months to claim missing Avios for a stay.

    Earning Avios

    You need to be an IHG One Rewards member in order to collect Avios. Log into your profile “My account/Managing accrual preferences/Miles” and choose Iberia as your carrier. Next, you will need to type your Iberia Club membership number as priority. When booking with IHG® Hotels & Resorts, don´t forget to include your IHG One Rewards membership number to collect your Avios.

    Earning Elite Points

    You will earn 1 Elite Point for every 10 Avios earned through direct accumulation (by selecting Iberia Club as your preferred partner).

    Bonuses or welcome campaigns, as well as the conversion of IHG One Rewards to Avios, are excluded from the accumulation of Elite Points.
    Transactions that earn fewer than 10 Avios will not generate Elite Points. When converting 10 Avios into 1 Elite Point, the result will be rounded down. This conversion of Elite Points is in addition to the earning of Avios.
