In a place such as this, fish is logically in abundance.
A seafood lover's delight.
From November to March, Bioko Island lives through its dry season, and during this time of year there is an abundance of fish, whose processing is the main industry in Malabo. Fish is easily acquired here, since many women sell it on the street after purchasing it from local fishermen, while in some villages the fishermen themselves go directly from house to house peddling their wares. It is also possible to find good fish at local markets, but tread carefully, as many of these establishments lack appropriate refrigeration. One of the usual places selling fish is the part of the central Malabo market that borders the neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
