Discover the cultural side of Yves Saint-Laurent
Inside the Jardin Majorelle, you will find this Museum of Islamic Art that was the workshop of French painter, Jacques Majorelle. Here you can see the personal collection of Berber art of the brand-new onwrs of the garden and now-deceased designer, Yves Saint Laurent. The museum's collection, which is a true reflection of true Moroccan culture, is divided into three sections: one that concentrates on daily-use or ceremonial utensils; another one for ancestral ornaments and jewels; and one dedicated to costumes, weapons and traditional fabrics. Admission into the Museum of Islamic Art costs 25 dirhams. Discover it at www.jardinmajorelle.com/introduction-a-la-culture-berbere.
