Federico Carlos Lehmann Valencia Natural Science Museum

Long live life

What better way of spending a family day than combining fun with educational activities. If you are travelling with your children, this museum is an absolute must: over 19,000 exhibits will take you on a journey through a universe of colour, immerse you in the smallest details of life and let you discover, from a scientific point of view, how work is done to preserve our natural resources. The Federico Carlos Lehmann Valencia Natural Science Museum was opened in 1963, and is now considered to be one of the most important museums in Colombia because of the enormous value of its displays. You will able to take a close look at exotic specimens of white rhinoceros, eagles and Bengal tigers, its complete collection of animal skins, archaeological collections and a fascinating insect exhibition; and, of course, you won’t be able to miss the huge whale that hangs from the ceiling. It is truly awesome!
