Opened in 2008, the 'Ayahuasca Restobar Lounge' has turned into an example of glamorous Peruvian nights in just a short time, finding itself among the top 50 restaurants in the world according to the San Pellegrino 2011 guide, which especially highlights cocktails in this establishment. The 'Ayahuasca' is located in a republican mansion of the end of the 19th century known as 'Mansión Berninzon', and to go through its door means to absorb the elegance of the period, combined with a loud decoration of shamanic influences and references to pre-Columbian ancestors. It contrasts the carefully planned combination of traditional furniture with avant-garde and ultramodern design; all this under neon lights with colourful walls and atmospheres that change if you go after work (from five to eight in the afternoon) or if you're looking for drinks accompanied with something to nibble, from eight in the afternoon to three in the morning.
