Camels, horses, elephants, trapeze artists, jugglers, clowns - check! Standard circus fare, certainly - but unlike most others out there these days, this one is permanent. In fact, it is downright historic - it was founded in 1891 and has been based in City Park since 1970. With three rotating productions, it's open all year except for the month of September, when it goes on tour throughout the country, Europe and beyond. This is a fantastic option for families both because of the marvellous show and the fact that its right next to the park's other attractions, such as the zoo and the botanical garden (see above).
