Oran's beaches

Something for everyone

We could say that Oran’s coast is divided into two different settings: firstly, there are a number of modern, well-equipped sports clubs where you can practise aquatic sports such as snorkelling, diving, watercraft or jetski. Visitors can also enjoy a good lunch or candlelit dinner in the fabulous restaurants beside the sea. In contrast, there is a wilder, more natural coast, formed essentially of one beach which divides into two. This is Madagh beach, which, in turn, becomes Madagh II. Both sandy beaches are located outside the city, a few kilometres from Les Andalouses, one of the most popular spas in the area. There is free access and they are very family-friendly; they are surrounded by a wood which makes it one of the most appealing natural areas in Oran to visit.
