The gallery called "The Tree of God" is dedicated to the work of one of El Salvador's most beloved artists, Fernando Llort (b. 1949). Inspired by the indigenous tribal culture of the past, Llort produces boldly coloured images that bring to mind aspects of Miró, Picasso, and Britto. Although dedicated primarily to painting, you'll find his work in a variety of media, from glass to wood, even screened on T-shirts, at a variety of price points. This is definitely a great spot to pick up a memento of high quality, striking visual appeal, cultural depth, and uniqueness - you will not find this stuff anywhere else but in this gallery. Avenida Masferrer Norte 575, Colonia Escalón.
