This aquarium, founded in 1928, is one of the most visited attractions in the city. It is at the end of the port area and you can walk there. Here you will see about thirty aquariums dedicated to the Cantabrian Sea and the Atlantic. You can see marine species up close from the glass tunnel. You will be impressed by the biodiversity of the oceans. Besides an aquarium, you have a museum. Don't forget to visit it and discover the city's historical relationship with the sea: maritime trade, fishing, the Basque whalers… Take the opportunity to also visit the Maritime Museum.
