Heineken Jazzaldia
The weather, beaches, delicious gastronomy… San Sebastián provides a luxurious backdrop to the Heineken Jazzaldia. This successful jazz festival has been held in the city since 1966. All the greats of the genre have been here at some time: from Ella Fitzgerald to Ray Charles or, more recently, Chick Corea. Its venue is the impressive Victoria Eugenia Theatre. You will discover, however, that jazz is present throughout the city. For example, you can watch performances on the Playa de la Zurriola. Or in the charming Plaza de la Trinidad, right in the centre. You will find concerts in lots of places, from the cheeky Kursaal building to the city's different clubs, such as the Altxerri.
