Right next to the rear facade of the Grossmünster church, and following the trail of the banks of the Limmat River, you'll find a street named Niederdorf that takes you down to explore Zurich's historic centre. This is one of the city's busiest avenues since it's the main artery for shops and shopping during the day, but then it's packed with people during the evening, and at night, as they fill the terraces (in summer) and the bars and restaurants in the area, which makes it the main place for nightlife. From midday, this place is a swarm of people who come to have breakfast, a snack, lunch, or dinner in some of the many cafes and restaurants that make up the most intriguing area for socialising during a business lunch, or a casual dinner. If we're talking about price, Niederdorfstrasse is also well-known for being the most affordable area for eating out. All you have to do now is choose where you would like to be seated!
