Iberia will have two daily flights between Madrid and Lima

New bet for Latin America

Iberia will operate from next June up to 11 weekly frequencies between Madrid and Lima, and, as of September, it will have up to two daily flights between the Spanish and Peruvian capitals.

The route between Madrid and Lima is operated with Iberia's most efficient aircraft, the Airbus A350, with capacity for 348 passengers. This means that for the six months that comprise the 2023 summer season, Iberia will have an offer on this route that will exceed 210,000 seats.

These data confirm not only the complete recovery of capacity on this route, but also its growth, since with this commitment the number of seats this summer season will be 54 percent higher than in 2022, and 12 percent higher than pre-pandemic capacity, in 2019.

In addition, the Madrid-Lima-Madrid flight schedules allow the best connections with the Iberia network of destinations in Europe that covers more than 100 cities and, beyond Lima, connects with another 12 destinations in Peru: Arequipa, Cajamarca, Cuzco , Chiclayo, Iquitos, Juliaca, Piura, Puerto Maldonado, Tacna, Talara, Tarapoto and Trujillo.
