Among the most punctual!

In 2019 Iberia Group became the second most punctual network airline in Europe and the fifth in the world.

According to the report published by Cirium for FlightStats, in 2019 Iberia Group became the second most punctual network airline in Europe and the fifth in the world. Iberia Express was ranked the most punctual low-cost airline in Europe for the sixth year in a row and the fourth in the world.

This means that Iberia Group has improved upon its position in 2018, when it was ranked the third most punctual network airline in Europe and the sixth in the world, while Iberia Express has achieved a European podium finish for another year in a context of operational difficulties such as strikes in the sector, airspace regulations, adverse weather conditions and the closure of one of the runways at Madrid airport for remodelling in March.

Despite these circumstances and aware of the quality expectations that customers have of Iberia Group companies, punctuality rates have been achieved by their workers, thanks to their commitment and dedication to service, that result in the Group being ranked as the second most punctual airline in Europe and the fifth in the world. In addition, Iberia Express was the leading low-cost airline in Europe, revalidating its good punctuality record over the last six years.
