A flight designed to chase the eclipse
IB1473 will depart Madrid at 18:45 on board an Airbus A321XLR and will follow a route specially designed to offer the best viewing conditions over Palencia.
Live from 10,000 feet
The broadcast is possible thanks to Starlink's new high-speed WiFi on board, which Iberia is adding to its fleet.

An eclipse for science too
Researchers from the Shelios project will travel on board to carry out measurements of the Sun’s morphology and other scientific studies, taking advantage of the viewing conditions.
