If you’re passionate about literature, this unique bookshop at 9 West Street is not to be missed. Brattle Book Shop is one of the oldest and largest second-hand bookshops in the whole country, dating back to 1825. Its shelves are stacked with rare or out-of-print novels, antique treasures, books of great historical value, maps, posters, pamphlets and other unusual items.
