At the end of a narrow, winding road, a lovely area where island traditions live on and the views are stunning.
A remote corner of the island that's well worth the trek.
A striking corner of Tenerife's northwest, reachable via a narrow, winding road (it'll take a bit of a while, and you might want to consider going by bus or taxi instead of driving yourself). Highlights include Teno Rural Park , where you can visit the Ethnographic Museum if you're interested in local history and traditions. Other options for spectacular views include the local shrine and Cherfe overlook. There's a pretty, secluded black-sand beach down here, too (it does involve a bit of a trek, though). Regardless of how you spend the day, as dusk approaches we'd recommend you get yourself to as high a point as you can, because sunsets around here are hard to forget.
