Artisans' Promenade at Pueblo Marinero
If you're looking for an original memento or gift, head to this Costa Teguise market on Wednesday afternoon
A top market for local handicrafts
Taking place every Wednesday afternoon at the Costa Teguise's Pueblo Marinero, the Artisans' Promenade was created in 2011 under the aegis of the Association of Artisans of Lanzarote as a space to promote small businesspeople who create marvelous products in their respective areas and media. These products include leatherwork, jewelry, decorative items carved from lava rock, ceramic fertility figures, and musical instruments such as timples, a kind of small Canarian guitar. You're sure to find an absolutely original memento or gift here.
