A restored 18th-century manse shows through its décor and artifacts a bit of what daily life was like back then.
A window into traditional island live of centuries ago.
A museum set in a rural 18th-century manse in San Cristóbal de la Laguna packed with history-soaked details, it along with the Casa Lercaro is one of the sites of the Tenerife Anthropological Museum. Each area of the dwelling is carefully preserved and restored to best display the artifacts of daily life in those times, including items of clothing, porcelain, farm implements, and more. The garden outside is also part of the exhibition, and is a delightful oasis that will make you want to linger.
