Iberia is set to offer up to 19 flights a week to Mexico City

From May to October, we'll be operating up to three flights a day between the Spanish and Mexican capitals.

The new additions demonstrate our renewed commitment to the Mexican market.

From 4 May to 27 October 2018, we'll be operating up to three flights a day between Madrid and Mexico City, which means as many as 19 flights a week in each direction.

Flights will be operated with Airbus A340-600 aircraft, which seats 359 passengers distributed between Business, Premium Economy and Economy. In total, we'll be offering more than 646,000 seats in 2018, nearly 20 percent more than in 2017.

And if you want to continue your journey from Mexico City, you can choose from another 34 destinations in Mexico, including Acapulco, Cancun, Ciudad Juarez, Monterrey and Veracruz, thanks to our codeshare agreement with Interjet.

Iberia has reinforced its commitment to Mexico in recent years. In 2016 we offered 490,525 seats on the route and increased the number to 538,913 seats in 2017. The new additions will take the total number of seats to 646,174 in 2018, which represents a 32 percent increase in capacity on the Madrid-Mexico City route over the last two years.
