Las Garzas Ecopark
Perfect for disconnecting from the noise of the city, with a special birdwatching dock.
An oasis of tranquility
The green lungs in the city centre act as a powerful counterweight to the traffic and stress of daily life; the park is situated in the southern area of the city, and was opened in 1996. Arriving at Las Garzas Ecopark means entering into an oasis of peace and tranquillity, which will allow you to disconnect from the daily noise and enjoy nature without having to leave Cali: inside you will find a large dock from where you can spot fish and birds, many footpaths with information boards on the flora and fauna of the park, and even, a picnic area where you can eat in unique surroundings. The park is particularly attractive as night falls, when the herons who live here, after which the park is named, return to their nests with their young and clothe the horizon in beautiful white.
